Sapphire large components
We are cultivating and processing large sapphires of approximately 300mm using the original TSMG method developed by Shinko.
Sapphire crystals have the following characteristics: - Heat resistance (up to 2000°C) - Wear resistance (Mohs hardness of 9) - Strength (more than five times that of tempered glass) - High thermal conductivity (more than 40 times that of glass) - High purity (over 99.99%) - Optical transparency: Transmits from UV to IR They are widely used as window materials that can solve challenges that cannot be achieved with glass or fluorides. In recent years, due to their optical properties and thermal conductivity at low temperatures, sapphire produced by Shinko Co. has been adopted as large mirrors for gravitational wave telescopes, expanding their applications. We also accept special processing requests, so please feel free to consult with us.
